A SYSTEM BUILT BY EXPERIENCE
HOW IT STARTED
As a multi-sport athlete, I learned early on the value of training, discipline, and structure, but it was the weight room that truly caught my attention. I was a scrawny kid, and that insecurity stayed with me for a very long time.
Training became more than a routine, it became something I could control. I found myself drawn to the process. Showing up, putting in the work, and watching small changes add up over time. I followed the same fitness creators week after week, listening to their stories and feeling a sense of connection I hadn’t found anywhere else. For the first time, fitness gave me a feeling of belonging.
Through consistency and dedication, I realized I could build not just strength, but confidence and the body I always dreamed of.
WHY THIS EXISTS
In 2021 I started working at Pearl Bar, a lesbian bar in Houston, TX. What started as a job, quickly became a home. For 4 years, I was fully immersed into the LGBTQ community, surrounded by people who showed up as they are and supported each other without hesitation. That environment taught me what it felt like to truly belong.
When I stepped away from pearl to start my personal training business, the absence of the community was immediate. I realized that I no longer had the comfort of going through life feeling supported, seen and not judged by those around me.
That loneliness made me realize how isolating the fitness world can be for a queer person.
Training often emphasizes Independence, discipline, and resilience. But for myself, I was met with anxiety and a lack of real connection with others because no one in the gym looked like me.
That's why I created this system. To merge the world of fitness and the deep rooted support that defines the queer community
